Pitch And Logline
When Torsten’s wife is murdered, he is determined to do whatever it takes to find the assassin and slaughter anyone that stands in his way… or will he?
Murder Crazy, a chronicle with heartbreak, murder, agony, lies, secrets, torment and despair. A Film Noir that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
Depressed and sorrowful widower, Torsten is grieving about the fact that his wife has been murdered. He wants to find who is responsible for the massacre and will eliminate any obstacles, until he comes across seductive and secretive, Faye who gains the attention of Torsten in a dark alley during a blitz. He wants to help her but little does he know distress and trouble is coming his way. Has Torsten kindness led to a judgment error that will inevitably lead to his own destruction or will he find his wife’s murderer?
I believe Denise Richards would be a good actress to play Faye as she is known for playing roles of being beautiful on the outside, but rotten to the core, a typical ‘Femme Fatale’. An Actor I feel would suit the role of Torsten is Johnny Depp; as he fits the physical attributes that the character requires and also has shown an incredible ability in the past to embody a role and fully immerse himself in a character; having started in film for a variety of age groups shows that he can adapt to roles very well and appeal to audiences across a wide range of demographic groups.
Murder Crazy would be shown at Film Festivals and independent Cinemas. If it is received well it would move onto Multiplex cinemas such as Cineworld, Odeon, Empire, Showcase and Vue. This film includes all the basic aspects of Film Noir, thriller, crime, mystery, drama and nudity. Therefore it is aimed at adults 18+ and would be a 15 rating.
